Mothers Auxiliary

The Mothers Auxiliary is an integral part of the Seton Hall Prep community. It is the link between the mothers and guardians of Seton Hall Prep students and the administration and faculty of the Prep. All mothers and guardians of current students are members of the organization, and regular monthly meetings are held throughout the school year.

The Mothers Auxiliary strives to provide opportunities for social events and spiritual growth at our Welcome Mass and Brunch in September, a Christmas Social in December, and our Ash Wednesday Mass and Soup Supper each Lenten season. The major objective of our organization is to provide monetary support for the school and this is accomplished through our two major fundraisers each year; the annual Fall Gala and Auction in November and the Tuition Raffle held every May at our Mother/Son Dinner.

Being active in the Mothers Auxiliary is an ideal way to make life-long friends, as well as provide all mother/guardians the opportunity to feel a part of the school.

Senior Moms and Guardians
We are hopeful that we will create a memorable and special event. We are beginning to work on the Senior video honoring you and your sons and need your help. Please submit the following 2 pictures no later than March 15th.
- A baby picture of your son.
- A favorite picture of you and your son. The photo of you and your son can be at any age.

"Moms in Prayer" - Every Wednesday
What is Moms in Prayer? Two or more women who meet virtually every Wednesday at 8:40 am (one hour a week) to intercede on behalf of their boys and the school through prayer. The Moms in Prayer hour is divided into Four Steps of Prayer: Praise, Confession, Thanksgiving and Intercession.

Christian mothers, grandmothers, guardians or any woman who is willing to pray for their son and the school. Women who believe that God answers prayer!

"For where two or more are gathered in my name, there am I in the midst of you." Matthew 18:20

Our purpose
- To stand in the gap for our boys through prayer
- To pray that our boys will receive Jesus as Lord and Savior, then stand boldly in their faith
- To pray for teachers and staff
- To pray that teachers, administrators, staff and students will come to faith in Jesus Christ
- To pray that our school will be directed by biblical values and high moral standards
- To be an encouragement and a positive support to our school
- to provide hope and strength to moms who carry heavy burdens for their boys
